New Japan/JaCVAM Sections on AltTox
The Toxicity Testing Resource Center (TTRC) on AltTox.org contains dozens of summary articles describing toxicity testing, toxicity endpoints, test method validation, government testing programs, government agencies, 3Rs organizations, and more.
Until now, the primary geographic scope of information provided in the TTRC has been the United States and the European Union.
This month, we have added new content on Japan and the Japanese Center for the Validation of Alternative Methods (JaCVAM) as part of AltTox's commitment to covering relevant developments in additional geographic regions.
Dr. Hajime Kojima, the Director of JaCVAM, has agreed to serve on the AltTox Editorial Board to oversee our content on Japan. Dr. Kojima has participated as an AltTox Forum Moderator since the inception of the website in December 2007.
Similar content sections for Korea, Brazil, Canada, and other countries will be developed and added to AltTox over the next several years. If you would like to participate in developing the content for any country, or can suggest an "editor" for a country, please contact us at info@alttox.org.
Questions or comments on the Japan content can also be sent to info@alttox.org or posted in the AltTox Forum.
