Many thousands of consumers have since asked IHOP to move away from this extreme form of confinement by using cage-free eggs. IHOP's competitors like Denny's, Burger King, and Wendy's are moving away from battery cage eggs, but IHOP still only uses eggs from hens confined in cages so small they can't even spread their wings.
