Election Day is a just 4 days away, and advocates of animal protection need to know who is standing up for their interests. The Humane Society Legislative Fund is the non-partisan political arm of the humane movement, and we want you to know that Hans Dunshee is the best friend of animal protection in the Washington Legislature.

We're encouraging animal advocates to support Hans Dunshee for the 44^th District in the Washington State House of Representatives on November 6.

Hans Dunshee is a true leader for animals and is trusted and respected by his colleagues. Among his efforts, he has:

Protected voter-approved initiatives to stop the use of steel-jawed leghold traps and bear baiting
Helped lead the effort to ban the possession of dangerous wild animals as pets
Strongly supported efforts to make dogfighting and cockfighting a felony
