The Difference One Day Can Make for Animals
Dear Friend,
The Humane Society of the United States, the ASPCA and several California humane organizations* invite our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to speak up in favor of critical legislation affecting California's animals. Senate Bill 1221 will prohibit the cruel and inhumane "hounding" of bears and bobcats with packs of dogs.
Join us for One Day: RSVP to join us at the state capitol for a critical hearing and lobby day on Tuesday, June 12 in Sacramento. This is your chance to speak up for bears, bobcats and dogs at a hearing of the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife committee, attend a noon-time rally and meet with advocates in your state. We will ensure you have a great experience and that you feel prepared to engage and make a difference for animals. To spend a few worthwhile hours helping California's critters, please RSVP today.
Thank you for all you do for animals,
 Wayne Pacelle, President & CEO
*We are so grateful to our partners at Born Free USA, the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, the Lake Tahoe Humane Society & SPCA, the Marin Humane Society, the Sacramento SPCA, the San Francisco SPCA, the Santa Cruz SPCA and the Yolo County SPCA. Join us in Sacramento on June 12!
