Bolivia, NC: Advocating for Animals Grassroots Meeting - April 18, 2013 Odell Williamson Auditorium
The North Carolina state legislature will be considering legislation that would significantly impact animals, such as a bill to improve conditions for dogs living in puppy mills. We want you to know how you can bring your community together to make a difference.
Join the NC State Director of The Humane Society of the United States, North Carolina Voters For Animal Welfare, and Susie's Law for a very special award ceremony and grassroots meeting!
The Brunswick County Animal Shelter has received a Shelters We Love Award for their community outreach and outstanding work for animals in Brunswick County. Please join us to celebrate the Brunswick County Animal Shelter and talk about projects underway to improve life for North Carolina's animals. We can't be effective without your help! If you are concerned about puppy mills, animal fighting and local animal issues, or just generally advocating for animals in North Carolina, you should attend informative and motivational meeting to learn how you can take action for animals.
Awareness around animal welfare issues has drastically increased and animal advocates are more organized than ever before. Join the movement to provide responsible care for all the animals in NC. As a community we can make a difference!
