NOTICE: There are two times/venues to choose from in Long Beach on Thursday, August 16. Stay on this page to RSVP for the evening session. Or click here to select the afternoon event»

The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to join us for, "Living with Coyotes," an educational event that will feature tips for protecting pets from coyotes, reducing coyote attractants in neighborhoods, and how to "haze" bold coyotes.

Coyote hazing helps restore the fear of humans back into habituated coyotes and involves the systematic use of deterrents. Communities such as Denver, Colo., have achieved remarkable success using non-lethal deterrence programs.

If you're concerned about coyote sightings in your neighborhood, want to learn how to best protect your pets, or just want to learn more about coyotes, please attend this event!
