Phoenix, AZ: Lobby 101 Event - January 31, 2013
Burton Barr Central Library

Interested in sharpening your skills to help pass animal protection legislation? You don't have to be a professional lobbyist to be an important part of the legislative process.

The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to a special Lobby 101 seminar. Our presentation will cover all of the information you need to be an influential citizen advocate for animals. We'll show you basic, but effective, lobby techniques. You'll learn how a bill becomes a law, what influences a legislator, which animal-related bills and issues are being considered by the Arizona legislature, and what you can do to help.

Plus, you can put your skills to use and join humane advocates from all over the state for the Arizona State Humane Lobby Day in Phoenix, AZ on Wed, Feb 6, 2012.

RSVP today to become a successful citizen lobbyist and begin making a difference for animals in Arizona! Contact Kari Nienstedt at if you have additional questions.

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Burton Barr Central Library (Meeting Room B)
