Interested in sharpening your skills to help pass animal protection legislation? You don't have to be a professional lobbyist to be an important part of the legislative process.
The Humane Society of the United States invites our members and supporters to a special Lobby 101 seminar -- for free! Our presentation will cover all of the information you need to be an influential citizen advocate for animals. We'll show you basic, but effective, lobby techniques. You'll learn how a bill becomes a law, what influences a legislator, and what you can do to help.
Legislators from the district and an expert lobbyist guest speaker from Arizona Governmental Affairs have also been invited to join, so you don't want to miss out.
RSVP today to become a successful citizen lobbyist and lend your voice for animals in Peoria and surrounding communities! Contact Kari Nienstedt at knienstedt@humanesociety.org or (480) 381-4410 if you have additional questions.
