Waldorf, MD: Community Advocacy Meeting, November 5, 2013 Charles County Public Library Waldorf West Branch
The Humane Society of the United States and B-More Dog are joining with partners in several counties around the state to build a strong and united front for the next legislative session. The meetings will serve as an interactive forum to chart a path for how we can work together to establish a fair, breed-neutral dog bite liability law for Maryland. Please join us along with Stop BSL in Charles County for a meeting in Waldorf.
We will discuss the Tracey v. Solesky court ruling, how it affects Marylanders, and the difference between dangerous dog ordinances and dog bite liability. Most importantly, we'll talk about ways you can work with lawmakers to reverse this decision. If you're a dog owner, "pit bull" lover, or animal advocate, please attend this free meeting and find out what you can do to help. While this ruling targeted pit bull-type dogs, ALL dog owners will be impacted by this legislation in January.
RSVP today to lend your voice for animals in Waldorf and beyond. Contact Tami Santelli at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
