The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to coffee with your legislator!
Join our California State Director Jennifer Fearing and Assemblyman Cameron Smyth for an informal coffee break to discuss humane legislation in California. This is a unique opportunity to get face-to-face time with one of your elected officials, and in this case a real champion for animals. Assemblyman Smyth is our 2009 Humane Legislator of the Year and the co-chair of the legislative animal protection caucus. He voted in support of priority humane legislation 100% of the time and has authored bills to promote spay/neuter and pet adoption. He represents the 38th Assembly district and he’d like to meet you!
Come, buy a cup of coffee, and join us to chat! We appreciate your R.S.V.P. hope to see you there!
