Think only professional lobbyists can lobby? Think again! The Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA invite you to participate in the California Humane Lobby Day in Sacramento, where you’ll make a tremendous difference for animals.
This is an exciting opportunity to meet directly with your elected officials or their staff about legislation that will significantly impact animals. There will be a briefing on tips for lobbying and an overview of pending animal legislation which will prepare you to meet your elected officials and advocate for animals.
We hope you can join us for an exciting day of training and lobbying to support animal protection legislation in California. Thanks to the formation of the new Animal Protection Caucus, attendees will be treated to legislators' perspectives on how to be the best citizen advocate for animals.
Public parking is available at a city-owned garage at the corner of 10th and L Streets right near the Capitol. Prepare to spend $20 to park there for the day. Click here for other city garages in the vicinity as well.
RSVP today to lend your voice for animals and make a difference in California. Hope to see you there!
