Wichita, KS: Lobby 101 meeting - October 31, 2012 Wichita Central Library
Are you interested in animal legislation? The Humane Society of the United States and Kansas Advocacy Groups invite our members and supporters to a Lobby 101 evening. Our presentation will cover everything you need to be an effective citizen advocate for animals. We'll show you basic, but effective, lobby techniques. You'll learn how a bill becomes a law, what influences a legislator, and what animal-related bills and issues are being considered by the Kansas legislature.
Kansas State Director Midge Grinstead will cover everything you need to be an effective advocate for animals. Join us and gather all the tools and techniques you need to be a successful citizen lobbyist. This will be a great opportunity to network with other animal advocates in your area and voice your concerns to one of your elected officials in Topeka.
RSVP today to lend your voice for animals in Kansas and beyond. Contact Midge Grinstead at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have additional questions.
