Houston, TX: Lobby 101 event - January 19, 2013
Houston Humane Society

The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to join our Texas state director and our friends at the Houston Humane Society to discuss current issues and learn what you can do to advance the cause of animal protection in Texas. In this presentation, we will share techniques for citizen advocacy to help you be an effective voice for animals in our state. In addition, guests will be invited to tour the Houston Humane Society’s state-of-the-art shelter.

We will share tips for effective citizen advocacy and talk about upcoming legislative efforts for the 2013 session. If you are concerned about animal welfare and creating a more compassionate Texas, you should attend this informative and motivational meeting to learn how you can help.

Texas animals need YOU to speak up for them! Together, we can be a strong unified voice for the animals and we want to hear from you. Please join us and share your concerns and ideas for a more humane community.

RSVP today to lend your voice for animals in Houston and across the state. Contact Katie Jarl at kjarl@humanesociety.org if you have additional questions.
