Are you interested in animal legislation? The Humane Society of the United States and Kansas Advocacy Groups invite our members and supporters to a Lobby 101 event. Our presentation will cover everything you need to be an effective citizen advocate for animals. You'll learn:

~Basic, but effective, lobby techniques
~How a bill becomes a law
~What influences a legislator
~What animal-related bills and issues are being considered by the Kansas legislature

Kansas State Director, Midge Grinstead, will cover everything you need to be an effective advocate for animals. This is a great opportunity to network with other animal advocates in your area and voice your concerns to one of your elected officials.
