Glenwood Springs, CO: Effective Citizen Advocacy for Animals - July 18, 2014 Glenwood Springs Community Center - Iron Mountain Room
The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to join our Colorado state director Jacquelyn Pyun to discuss current issues facing animals. We’ll be discussing ways to help animals in your state, show you how you can get involved, and offer an action guide on Colorado’s animal cruelty laws.
Animals cannot speak up for themselves, so it's up to us to be their voice. Join The HSUS and your fellow local animal lovers to discuss potential legislative efforts, learn how to lobby your elected lawmakers effectively, and get tried and true tips for making a difference for animals on the ground in Colorado. If you're concerned about the safety of animals in your community, wildlife protection, farm animals, or generally want to create a more compassionate Colorado, please attend this free meeting and become a citizen advocate.
RSVP today to lend your voice for animals in Colorado and beyond. Contact Jacquelyn Pyun at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have additional questions.
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
